Commercial Customers
We offer a range of water softening solutions for all commercial purposes, whether you own a laundry, a hotel, a laboratory
or even an aquarium, we can offer expert advice and installation.
We offer our usual methods of water treatment plus many more specialist water treatment solutions.
Iron, Manganese and Aluminium Removal
This process renders contaminants insoluble via the use of oxygen. The precipitate is then filtered and backwashed out from the
system. The filter used is determined by the initial water analysis (please note that this method can be used to eliminate
Hydrogen Sulphide).
Pesticide, Chlorine and Colour Removal
Used on systems where backwashing is appropriate, this method uses Granular Activated Carbon. The carbon either absorbs or
converts the contaminants, depending upon their make up.
Nitrate Removal
This process can be done either at point if entry or at point of delivery (for drinking purposes). The process utilises an
ion exchange similar to that used in a softener bed.
pH Correction
Water with a pH value below 7 (acids) cause corrosion. This can be addressed by using a high pressure vessel containing
Dolomatic Limestone. The pH is raised to above 7, taking it into the neutral to alkaline range. This correction is often
needed when Iron or Manganese removal is required.
Turbidity Removal
This harnesses the action of low micron levels teamed with layered media beds. This works at high flows and other more
specialist media may be needed to achieve better polishing results with certain waters.
Triplex Systems
This is an aero-separator system that oxygenates and degases water with a mixed filter bed. It corrects pH, removes turbidity
and also removes many metals.
Air & Ozone Injection
This enhances the performance of Iron/Manganese units. It adds oxygen before the catalytic filter either from air drawn in
through a venture, or from an ozone generator. It also helps to raise pH levels by gassing off Carbon Dioxide and reducing
Hydrogen Sulphide, which gives off a bad taste.
